Diavolitsi is 39km northwest of Kalamata and has 854 residents. It’s a lowland village, which took its name from a Byzantine officer. The old stone-built houses, the railway station and the beautiful square create a lovely scenery. Diavolitsi had once a vivid economic and social life. Today, it has a sports group and a stadium. Its patron saint is Agios Panteleimon, o Iamatikos (St. Panteleimon, the Healer).
