The Museum opened to the public in 1985. It houses interesting exhibits from the villa of Herodes Atticus such as inscriptions, marble sculptures, architectural parts, sculpture heads, as well as a votive relief showing Hermes and the Nymphs. You will also find ceramics from Elliniko of Kynourias cemeteries as well as other interesting works of the 2nd and the 3rd century AD . In addition, there is also a funerary stele (gravestone) from the 4th century BC. Due to lack of space many of these extraordinary works are kept outdoors. The Museum is not open at present.
