Latas with 380 residents is close to the artificial lake of Pineios river. Its residents engage in agriculture and animal husbandry. It is built at an altitude of 144m. In a short distance from the village you will find the picturesque chapel of Prophitis Ilias (Prophet Elijah). Inside the village there is the church of Agios Nikolaos (St.Nikolaos).
