Zaholytikos river rises to Sarantapihos village in Corinthia and flows through Evrostini (Zaholi) to end up in east Derveni where it empties into the Corinthian bay. The beautiful landscape around its riverside is full of plane trees, walnut trees, apple trees, cherry trees, etc. Following its course, the river forms small natural ponds full of trouts, beautiful cascades and creeks with crystal water. The locals name this idyllic landscape in Evrostini “Creek of Mills” which is ideal for walks.
