A lowland settlement of 167 residents, sitting on an altitude of 160 metres, 3.9 kilometres from Argos. It is thought that its name has Turkish roots. One of the village's sights is the beautiful spring of Akova in a verdant location full of plane trees. The traveller can also visit the chapel of Agia Rousali Vroustiou that is built on some high rock outcroppings nearby.
