TL;DR

A small quaint village near the archaeological site of Ancient Olympia, with a population engaged in the tourism industry, featuring a small theatre.

A small village built on a hill on the northeastern side of ancient Olympia, on an altitude of 150 metres. It is named after the first shepherd to settle the area, because of its climate. It has about 200 residents who are mainly engaged in tourism, thanks to the village being near the archaeological site of Ancient Olympia, and also the cultivation of olive, corn and raisin.

A small theatre, also called Drouva, is in the village, registered in 2007 in the list of cultural spaces of the region.
