Koulentia is a small village in the southeastern Laconia, built on the southern side of Maleas cape at an altitude of 550m. Only 18km from Monemvasia, the residents engage in agriculture and animal husbandry. It is a green village with running waters that is also called Elliniko. At an altitude of 300m there is a semi-abandoned tower that used to be an observatory to notify the residents in advance in case of pirate invasion.
