A settlement of 622 residents, built in the plains of Argolida on an altitude of 28 metres, 4.8 kilometres northeast of Argos. The village was named after the river Inachos that flows nearby. The river itself was named after the mythological First King of Argos who led the Argians, the people of Argos, from the mountains to the plains after Deucalion's Flood. The residents are engaged mainly in agriculture, especially citrus fruits.
