It is one of the longest beaches in Peloponnese with a 2km stretch of sand, 45m wide. Its orientation is southeast. It has an incredible view of the fortified town of Monemvasia. It is organized with shallow crystal waters and powder-white sand suitable for families. Wooden corridors facilitate the access of the bathers to the sea. It is exposed to north winds. Small creeks flow into the sea and the area has moors with bamboos. It was declared bathing coast in 1995.
