Agios Ioannis is a mountainous village, at an altitude of 683m, 27km from the city of Corinth. Its approximately 400 inhabitants are farmers and cattle-breeders. It is an old village mentioned in many Turkish documents from 1500. The area is included in the first pilot program for young cattle-breeders who are interested in investing in the primary sector.
The ruins of a medieval fortress are on a hill east of the village, while in the outskirts there is the Agios Georgios church in the cemetery and the area Viliza where Albanians came to settle in the end of the 14th century.Agios Ioannis of Corinthia
