A coastal village of 693 inhabitants 12km west of the city of Corinth and 11,5km southeast of Kiato located on the Corinthian bay. The village was formerly known as Azizi until 1928. Its inhabitants are mostly farmers and cattle-breeders, but recently the local economy has been stimulated by tourist-oriented businesses.
