In the middle of the road from Kalamata to Pyrgos and near the Kazarma village you will find the mesmerizing Polylimnio. It took its name after the many little lakes (limni means lake in Greek), that are about 15, such as Mavri Limni (Black Lake), Panagou, Stathoulas, Italou, Kadi, Kadoula, Mavrolimna, etc. In fact, Polylimnio is a region full of small waterfalls, lakes with crystal-clear waters and an especially dense vegetation. The lakes are full of fresh water crabs.
